Changes to my study programme

Hello bloggers, I hope you are alright today. Well, this is my last post, and this is my last English class too and I have to write about the program of my career, specifically about the things that I could change of this. So, I am a student of Forestry Engineering at the “Universidad de Chile” and I am coursing the second year, actually I am finishing the fourth semester.
About the program of the career, it had changed about three years ago, so with my classmates we are the thirst generation with this program for competences. If I could change something of the program it would be something from these two years because I can’t opine about the next years.  I think that I would change some teachers and him methods of teaching, like actualize the bibliography of the contents. Another thing that I really would like to change would be the timetable, because I think that is very tiring for us having class from the 9 am to the 18 pm, and then get home to make another kind of works, homework, report, etc., most of all for the people that lives far away to the faculty (I have the great to live close). I think that the actual program is very exhausting. Also, sometimes we have windows of 3 or more hours and that’s really boring. But a thing that I could rescued of the program is the practices, I think that it’s a really good part of the career because we can learn all the things we didn’t in the year there, and we can applied all the new knowledges of every academic year. Summer holidays

Hello readers, this is my second to last post of the English class of this semester (my last English semester) and I am going to talk you about the summer holidays. This year and this semester have been very difficult to me and I am very tired now, so I am waiting anxious for this summer vacations! At the twenty eight of this month I hope had all the subjects closed and the semester ready. After that, I will go to the practice 2 of my career, from the 9 of January to the 21 of the same month, with my generation we will go one week to Pantanillos and the other week to Malleco. Then I will hang out with my parents in some part of the Chilean south until February first approximate.  After that, I will hang out with my three school friends and maybe someone else. We will hitch-hike but we still don’t know exactly where we will go. But I have many ideas, like start the travel in the Alerce Andino Nacional Park, close to Puerto Montt, and then go to the “Carretera Austral”. Another idea is go through “Región de los Lagos” and “Región de los Ríos” and visit all the beautiful landscapes. Anyway, no matter where I go, but I hope this will be a good vacations and I could rest and recharge myself of energy to start the new semester, my fifth semester at the University. 

My favorite TV show

 

Hello bloggers, today I must to write about my favorite TV program. Actually I don’t like to watch TV. I think that is a waste of useful time, because most of the time it absorbs you in senseless thing. I don’t watch anything of TV at the week, just sometimes in the weekends I watch a few with my family, especially culture programs, for example “Recorriendo Chile”, or “City tour”. This kind of programs shows different cultures of different places, around Chile and around the world, showing their typical foods, their costumes, beliefs, etc. Another thing that I watch on the TV is the Chilean football match. Besides that, I prefer to watch series or movies in the time that I choose to do it, I watch this on Netflix in my computer, and I prefer it because I choose what to see, and when. So, I have seen a lot of movies and some series too in my computer, most of this in my vacations or in my free time.  One of my favorite is “Pretty Little Liars”, a serial with seven seasons, and approximate 20 chapters in every season, and I’ve seen it complete! 

Someone I'd like to meet

Good morning readers, I hope you are fine. Today in my english class I have to write about a person that I would like to meet. It was difficult to me choose someone that I’d like to meet, because actually I am not so interested in meet famous people, it is not a propose to me. But anyway, I’m going to mention some people, most of this people I’m going to mention had something in common, they are musician, and more than know them, I would like to listen them music in live, like in a private concert where I can choose the playlist.
Chris Martin: He is part of Coldplay, a british band. It was the first band that I knew, and I love it. Also I can say that I love the Chris voice and how he plays piano.

Julian Casablancas: He is the vocalist of The Strokes, I love him, I think he is so cute and his voice i so nice!

The Beatles: If I was born in that time, I would have loved to know them, Ringo, John, George and Paul. I think I would have been a crazy fan.  

And here is an exception, Tyler Blackburn. He is an young actor. I know him in a series called Pretty Little Liars, there I fall in love with him hahahah. He was born in California, in 1986, so he’s ten years older than me.

Postgraduate studies

Hello people, I hope you are alright today. I’m going to write about a postgraduate course that I would consider taking in the future. I am studying forestry engineering now, and on the postgraduate program of my faculty are some masters, doctorates, diplomates and post title course. Actually I don’t know exactly if I want to keep studying after finish my career, because I really like studying and learn new things every day is really gratifying, but study means a lot of time and dedication too, so I really don’t know if I could be able to keep studying and investing my time in this, I think I need time to make another things too, like different hobbies, I would like to learn about art, photography, etc. and also I would like to travel around many places.
However, if the things will give up in some moment, I would like to keep learning about my career and this kind of topics. If I have the opportunity, the time and a way to pay the fees, I would like to study the “Master in Sylvester Areas and Nature Conservation” in my faculty, coordinated by the professor Juan Miguel Caldentey. Another thing that I would like to do in the future, will be study some postgraduate course out of the country, maybe in New Zealand. So, that’s all for today, bye!  

My future job

Hello people, I hope you are alright. Today I’m going to write on my blog about “My future job”. Now I am studying forestry engineering at the “Universidad de Chile” and my career is related with the nature and the practice. I still don’t know in what I want to work specifically at the future, but I have the idea that in a future I think I will not like to work in an office, I will like to work outdoors. Also I imagine my job at the conservation area, maybe even investigation, but always about protect different landscapes, with different species of plants and animals, protecting the biodiversity of the world.
In my future job, don’t care what will be, I wish I can travel a lot around the country and maybe around the world too. Travel around the Chilean south, and the north too.
I think that working world is very difficult but interesting too, that you still learning even working, and you have to put the best of you to find a work that you really want in your life. But also, I think that studying is something wonderful and you have to take advantage of this part of your life, because is really useful for the rest of your life, knowing is something that nobody can remove of you.

                              

Election Day

Hello readers, today I’m going to talk about the Election day. Not long ago, was the municipal’s election. In those elections, was the first time I could vote, but there was a problem, in my address I was from “Melipilla”, far away from my home, so I couldn’t go to vote.
I think the electoral campaigns spend a lot of unnecessary money in their blurb.
A person who run for a public position have to be close to the people, be honest and want good things for all the persons, thinking about equality for everyone.
I think I’m not the kind of person who could be a politician, I don’t really like that topics, and I’m not that profile of person who have the capacity of lead a group.
In my opinion, voting is a good occasion to express your opinion, even if the politicians are not of your liking, because if everyone will go to vote, and show their opinion, like for example in a white vote, if there’s a lot of this votes, this means something too for the country.
So I tell you that in the next elections go to vote! For you and for all the people.
